Morbier PDO - Unpasteurised Cow Milk, Franche Comté - France

Originally made by the cheese maker of Comté, this French cheese is the perfect addition to a cheese board. The black layer is actually a vegetable product and only for appearance when in the past ash was sprinkle to separate the milk in the cheese making process.

​Its taste is supple and sweet and fruity whilst is appearance is soft and creamy.
